Herdsman 0
What a nightmare! I need to re-equip with a descent rifle and these 3 are on my list. When I was last seriously into air rifle hunting I used Webley Mk3 and BSA airsporter those days are long gone (you know marriage kids mortgage) now I getting back to it what do you buy? when you spend hard earned cash you need to be sure you've selected the right option. Everybody talks about the weight factor of the Air Arms and HW97 and how good the Lightning is but it don't get no easier does it? I do a lot of ferreting and during the summer stop but I still get harrassed by permissions needing their rabbits sorting, well getting out there with an air rifle will ease the situation at least show that something is being done. Fortunately written permission has been granted so no legal problem there anyway, just need to select the right rifle. Quote Link to post
Stabs 2
I've had both the TX and the 97 in .22 and it's a tough choice but the TX wins it for me. If it only had the loading port in the same place as the 97.... Quote Link to post
