trinder 127
I have a 12v sealed lead acid battery for my lamp and it take ages to charge and when it has charged it dont last very long , someone suggested topping the cells up with water which i did an tbh i did see an improvement the lamp even seemed brighter than usual . now ive put it on charge the water is fizzing and the caps are popping off and i have noticed some excess water has come out . Have i broke it or is this normal ? I had the battery with lamp second hand and have no comparisson with a new batery on my lamp but it does seem to have made it brighter , any comments or suggestions would be great. Quote Link to post
