i used to have a old walking stick 410, never used it found it in a dustbin lol sold it later on for 180 quid lol

I should be very careful as to who you tell that you have a shot cane it is my understanding that as a firearm disguised as another object and not an obsolete calibre it would qualify as a section 5 firearm that will be a mandatory 5 year stretch if you don't have the correct certificate and get caught with it.

Good point dan, do you no what the relevant certificates would be? As I only have SGC? didn't think bout it being classed differently but like you say, it is effectively a concealed wepon?

I think you can get a condition on your shotgun cert to keep it as a curio only and must not be used failing that it's a sect 5 variation on a firearms cert

And if its a one for the pot poacher or one that makes his living out of it, A silenced 22. rifle will not be beaten if were talking numbers here
And heres the difference for me............One for the pot can be classed as a poacher......one who makes a 'living out of it' is a f*****g thief..... :thumbdown:

ive got a member of the family whos a antique dealer. hes had a couple of them as well as sword sticks but the rarest 1 ive seen him have was a ladys umberella with a dagger attached to the inside of the handle :)

friend of mine had one of these.there called a gentlemans walking sticks.

back to the op.like has been said,depends on the quarry.many years ago.my fav was a folding 410 with skeleton stalk.oh tat brings back memories lol
