got this thinking it would fit my nikon d40,it does fit but the camera says no lens fitted,it is a 300mm saker lens if it fits your camera and you pay the postage its yours free.

HI, If its a non-digital lense fitted to a digital camera then often the camera won't recognise the lense....A good gesture there matey :victory:

I did have a couple of Nikon 301's before I went digital with the Nikon D80,thanks though.

its non digital it does fit but the camera says no lens its still here ,john
