Recommended Posts

nice looking bitch there poacher(only taken me 3 days to see it).

Are springers a good dog for a newby gun dog owner or would i be better with a lab?

As i said its for working cover and thats about it realy

I have found the small type i keep pretty easey compaired to some terriers i have had in the past also so i have been told some of the trial bred springers can be an handfull.

A friend of mine trails them ,its hard work keeping on top of them.20 minutes work max if he is training them , other wise its just a walk around the block that aint for me.

Cockers can be quirky little things sometimes.A springer is more straight forward to train.I have a cocker bitch that should trial this coming season.
