I am making it interesting, it is not JUST about size, it is also about quality and you get extra points for odd shaped pumpkins too, Marrow comp would be great, maybe you can organise one for this year? don't need a prize it can be just for a laugh and whoever wins will be crowned THL marrow king/queen. Love the challenge and sounds great fun but i get broke into regularly and havig a monster pumkin in the garden will only attract more litte arseholes. do your comp ones at more time to tend it ... they did all the allotment sheds near me a few week back feckers ..
