hairybull 3 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Share Posted February 15, 2007 Those pigs will be 'boxed'. Dressed (gutted) a certain way for human or pet consumption. Once caught pigs over a certain size (I think minimum is 20kg-could be wrong) are taken to a large transportable coolroom(chiller) where one of the companies comes and collects them for processing. Major organs are kept in the pig to be checked for any diseases/ health of animal and there is also a time limit they can be dead for. The hunter gets paid $ per kilo for the pigs.
