Rabbithunter 456 Posted January 7, 2007 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 cooking time 1.5 hours 1 rabbit . 4.0z fat bacon . 1 large onion 8. oz diced mixed root vegetables 1 tsp curry powder 1 tsp worcestor sauce 1 pint water . seasoning . 1.oz flour 1/4 pint milk TO GARNISH chopped parsley wash the rabbit in cold water, to which a little vinegar has been added to whiten the flesh. Cut the meat into pieces, dice the bacon and put into a pan with chopped onion, vegetables, rabbit, curry powder and sauce. Fry for a few minutes then addthe water and bring to the boil: season well. Put on lid and simmer gently for about 1 1/2 hours until rabbit is tender. Blend the flour with the milk and stir into the liquid. Bring to the boil stirring well and cook until smooth and thickened. Taste and re-season if neccesary. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serves four Quote Link to post Share on other sites
