bullsmilk 2 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Share Posted December 31, 2006 well just took my new lightning xl .22 out to zero it in...not the best of days as its a bit windy i set some targets up at about 30/35 yds and put around 200 pellets thruogh her and ide say that % of them were grouping at around 1" but the other 20% were way off maby 2".....will this settle down do youy think..as for the wind the 20" that were off were in all directions Quote Link to post
mad al 146 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Share Posted December 31, 2006 Wind will cause havoc, but I'd still keep running it in, then when you go out on a "wind free" day :thumbs-up: , sorted, mind you bulls, I was in a very similar situation with £3ks worth of rifle/scope , only to be told there was nowt wrong with the gun . Seriously though, I'd keep putting rounds through it until the weather settles........Al Oh!, forgot, try diferent pellets to compare. Quote Link to post
