Cartridges for goose

Hi all,

Just booked my very first goose shooting trip at the start of December.

I have an over and under with a 2 3/4" chamber and am looking for suggestions of what cartridges I should buy for my trip.

We will be shooting over fields not wetland if that makes a difference.

lyvale express super game in 42 gram no.3 shot is a 2 3/4 shell, should do the job

Thanks for the replys. I am in Edinburgh but will be shooting over in fife.

I will have a look for the cartridges suggested.

i use a semi auto thats take 3" cartriges and i use a 42g no 4 first then two 50g bbs to back it up :gunsmilie: the cartriges i use are hull ultramax in the 42g and hull solway magnums in the bbs . they are savage
