J Darcy 5,871
Had a walk last night with that ugly messer from ooop north: Millet. The conditions were terrible, a string wind whipped branches from side to side and we missed loads and loads of shots. In fact after the first wood we had to go home and recharge the guns!!!! The sky wasnt right either and then the rain started! lol.... we ended up with 2 squirrels, a woodie and 8 maggies.....not a good bag really...but considering the conditions it could have been worse. I bet we missed well over 20 magpies!!!! not to worry though for we will be returning in a couple of weeks and this time there will be severe carnage on these pied pirates ... ... ...
