Mal'; Always nice to hear of a fellow Pester willing to keep a Dog on the job. Things have become so sterile these days most wouldn't dream of it.

However, a word of advice / caution? That Dog will end up on peoples property. In their homes even. It'll be confronted with all sorts. Strangers. Pets. Children. Live Stock. It'll be required to chase a rat right beneath a stalled horse - ignoring the farmers cat who sits by watching. You'll have to be 110% certain it won't let ye down, mate. Or there'd be hell to pay. That's the caution.

Advice? Buy yeself an 8 week pup. Then get to work. Teach it all ye can get it to experiance and make damn sure ye get it right. Then ye'll Know if it has limitations and will never need worry about that niggling doubt.

Think about that, eh? ;)
