snaring in the borders part 2

when we were away lasst week shooting the rooks, woodga had a few wires down as usual he came good with the hares , he released 3 more good sized leverts little more wiser to run another day the wires were checked at night and again in the morning ,as you can see most things can be caught even pheasnts and this one would have been kept if they were in season :whistle: heres some of the pics we took cheers rob

I know very little about snaring so don't know if this is a stupid question , but how were you able to release the leverets? Do you put a stop on the snares to prevent them tightening down and choking them?

no mate ists not a stupid question they were not dead when we got there they were checked at night and they had not been in long so they were released un harmed but a lil wiser cheers rob
