why not just go and help out a keeper that rears his own?

So he will have first hand experience in rearing them in his own without anyone elses help.

tbh I don't think rearing a dozen chicks in your garden will give you much experience http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/pub... jmho.

Obviously it will........... how about encouraging the lad :whistling:

i only got into shooting last season and this year ive got a pen in my garden with 35 poults in it that im hoping to rear and release, you can spend all the time you want with game keepers and being shown how to do things but in my experience (in life not game keeping) theres nothing like f*****g it up yourself to learn how to do things right i say fair play better rearing poults than being stuck to a playstation or causing greef in you neighbourhood.
