So he will have first hand experience in rearing them in his own without anyone elses help. tbh I don't think rearing a dozen chicks in your garden will give you much experience jmho. dicky82 1 Posted July 12, 2010 Report Share Posted July 12, 2010 i only got into shooting last season and this year ive got a pen in my garden with 35 poults in it that im hoping to rear and release, you can spend all the time you want with game keepers and being shown how to do things but in my experience (in life not game keeping) theres nothing like f*****g it up yourself to learn how to do things right i say fair play better rearing poults than being stuck to a playstation or causing greef in you neighbourhood.
