just got a new camera so thought i would get some pics up of my garden. Most things are just sprouting, might be nice to compare photos to some in a few weeks time.

pic 2 is Rhubarb in a pot, thats not in my garden thats in the yard. It not only looks nice in a shady corner, its practical too

Along this path im growing a hedge of raspberries. They have taken well but look like twigs still.

Behind them ive got strawberries planted, this part will be the fruit garden, though at the moment ive got a few cabbage dotted about. As i take the cabbage up i will trade and plant the strawb runners

this is my first year tryin to grow my own, i got 1 of these cheap plastic green houses and a small patch, trying to grow spuds,onions,leeks,peas,lettuce,tomatoes,peppers,beetroot strawberries and blackberry

 

i'll get some pics on tomorow, seems alot for my wee patch when i list it like that :icon_eek:

Not an allotment, I'm just trying to do a bit in the garden for the first time! :D

question about the rhubarb , i planted mine about a month ago, it had 3 stems that grew very quick but before getting to a good size they died making way for new shoots.

 

i have been forcing it (is this wrong until it is established?)

Chimp, if its only new then do not force it or take any fruit from it this year. It needs to establish itself first. Just leave it be and water well. I made the same mistake and tried forcing some of mine when it was too young.
