i went on monday with the lad, nothing special really, even worse [bANNED TEXT] i met stabba, silly jock called super ted, mushroom and simoman, the highlight was lurcher lass, teddy's and stabbs missis. but a few hours out all the same

Put my dog in the over 26 " and the winner of that heat was a judge?? He went on to judge the working lurcher heat

Sounds like sour grapes, the dog that won the over 26" is no show pony but a very good all round worker and as for his owner, well, he was only asked to judge the working dog class two hours before the class.

Went on Sunday, not been for a few years & probably won't be going again, most of the stalls were rubbish, Plus turn out of Lurcher's (as in numbers) was poor compared to the past, with the racing which used to be over a much bigger distance in the adjacent field, being held in a small fenced area near the rings. I'll be sticking to my Local/Hunt shows.
