This was my black whippet greyhound Tay, not a bad stayer for his breeding, I used to race him in the summer months & work him in the winter. He only got beat in the racing twice

Do you ever get up to the Wallsend track mate ?

It was last june one of our mates help run the club Carole Craigie

@ sowhat, but obviously anyone can answer lol, but whippets in general, pures and racing types, well maybe not so much racing types or grews. Do you find them faster or slower in general than whippets of say15-20 years ago? I've owned a few whippets over the years, last one about 15 years ago, and they all seemed faster than the dogs around today.

Plus, I've been arguing with my lad about the speed of whippets compared to some lurchers, and he's adamant that the whippets he's seen are slow?

Milly put up a good run saying she's almost 5 1/2 yrs old & 21 1/2" & not used to being hand slipped Mr Wabbit, but she'll be ready to rumble come July at the Scottish Derby out of traps, so make sure you bring a spare pair of under pants lol Milly in the red collar ;)
