The best form of energy for any dog is FAT simple,

Feed a house dog fat for a few year and the vet will love you

And you know what i mean every dog will need diffrent levels of fat in there diet to match there work load..

Why would you give a house dog the same diet as a working one..??

You know what i mean any working dog..

Be it coursing,Ferreting or sled pulling herding..

Ill still stand by the fact the fat is the best form of energy,

Im not saying carbs cant give energy after the body has converted them into one thing and then the body can absorb that bla bla..
Like i say ill leave it to someone that knows the fancey ins and outs of it to explain

Make your mind up , youve stated TWICE that dogs dont get energy from carbs !!!

Right enough now,

Like iv said ill leave it to one of the ones that can talk the talk with al there fancey terms and sh-it,

I know that iv stated twice that they DONT well three now, Like i say the body takes carbs then then turns them into whatever you call it and then the body store thats and can use that as energy but not the same way the body can use fat and not to the same quailty as fat..

Hi bud not having a go.fat is the best form of energy in a working dog but carb,s play a big part too.but if you give to much fat to a dog that,s not worked properly it will only lead to problems.Lets face it some dogs are taken out about once a week in a good month
