The best form of energy for any dog is FAT simple,

 

 

Feed a house dog fat for a few year and the vet will love you

And you know what i mean every dog will need diffrent levels of fat in there diet to match there work load..

 

Why would you give a house dog the same diet as a working one..??

I know that iv stated twice that they DONT well three now, Like i say the body takes carbs then then turns them into whatever you call it and then the body store thats and can use that as energy but not the same way the body can use fat and not to the same quailty as fat..

Hi bud not having a go.fat is the best form of energy in a working dog but carb,s play a big part too.but if you give to much fat to a dog that,s not worked properly it will only lead to problems.Lets face it some dogs are taken out about once a week in a good month

chicken skin /pigs trotters....good source of fat and protein....and the dogs think im there best mate a trotter apeice in the morning keeps them quiet
