Phantom 631
As promissed, here's the pix First is the Pellet entry hole in my forarm that was at an angle and not straight on. The pellet came to a stop just under the scarr tissue that you see The second one is my 1st attempt at suturing a wound. Trying to do it one handed was a bit awkward to say the least I cant find the head on pic of the Geco with the skirt sticking out of my forearm but I'll keep looking. Phantom Quote Link to post

Malt 379
what can i say ???? just as well none of you have a fac or alot of you would be dead its a shocker is this thread Feck me, we can't all be perfect. Most folk who have been into any type of shooting all their lives have had at least one injury, close shave or know someone that has. Accidents happen. There's always some smart arse who comes along with a comment though. Just think, if you've never had one, yours might just be around the corner.. Phantom 631
why put self harming photos up? sorry if im mistaken but thats a lot of scars in the same place . whatever floats your boat i suppose Trust me Chimp, This is going somewhere Earlier a comment was made that wound me up a little, so I asked a question and I am now awaiting the reply. Some people who seem 'normal' may actually have unseen problems. The government reckon that one in four people have some (many undiagnosed) mental health problems. I am a safe and competent shooter, however after a breakdown and a couple of relapses I found that by taking this action stopped me from taking it out on others I am now on the road to recovery. But I can still get wound up by people who say stupid things like never shot myself and never will! im always carefull .people who shoot themselves are just bloody careless!!! and put shame on good airgunners. Just remember, it could happen to anyone ANY day Any time, no-one knows what may trigger off an episode of mental illness. Or indeed how it could affect them. wrowmon 1
as i started this post yes my fault, phantom has been honest and i respect him totally for that.then perfect people come and have a pop at his honesty. so you are saying nick that you have never lost your rag, never kicked a door, swore at the fourth nut on that engine that you can't get to,screamed at the tv.if you have never lost your rag sir then i for one will stay well clear when life hands you a bad card for all heel is going to brake out. sometimes it takes a better man to set the pains of the world onto himself than release onto others. mods please close this thread before it gets to nasty... Phantom 631
you get wound up easy (mental health problems ) whilst in controll of a weapon? I've never had that happen to me thankfully, but I have used them to calm me down after the fact. It takes a lot to get me wound up. Which is why I was so good at my last job. Security and Close Protection Officer in a specialist medical centre dealing with Drug and Alcohol Addictions and other substance missuse, we also dealt with the people who were way to dangerous or violent to be seen at a normal GP's surgery. I had various people attack me, and the people I was hired to protect using many and varied types of 'weapons' from pens to machetties and swords, needles filled with HIV or Hepatitis infected blood. And I never once got wound up As for a weapon? They are tools not weapons, they only become weapons if you intend to harm another person with them (like a pen does).
