Hello all i got this old ESS dog from a keeper friend that retierd for my brother to use & work.I got the paper's not too long ago & he is a son off Badgercourtmoss & has a exellent pedigree.He is a good strong dog 19" tall old style & my brother & i would like to try & use him as i want a pup off him as in his younger day's he was a good dog & i would like to bring back 15yr old pedegree back in to 2006 but he is getting old & i cant get a bitch here to try im in Northeast scotland near Dundee any help greatful as i have some people keen to take a pup of him.

I think i know that dog did it used to belong to a keepr called Sandy from Angus did he not give it to a lad with a sasuki jeep ?

The dog was nothing specail in its day & it must be about 20 year old now .not what you would call good breeding stock ...youd better get some viagra for it

Hello no fooling you jones.Ok he wasent a FTCH but he was a good working dog like any ESS iv seen they are all just trained diffrent but most of them have it there & are an unspoiled breed by man.I have spoke to an A PANEL judge & he said that there is no harm in trying he used a dog the same age not to long ago.I like the dog's size old style & he is very well breed from 1 of the best knowen spaniel's whitch are very proven line's & i would on like to try & get some thing out of him.Any clue's as to who you are i take it your in my area & take it you will know me?.P.S he dose nothing but follow my lab bitches every whare still take's hard**'* & he has a huge nott that has already cost a vet bill.

Sorry v-max I dont know who you are, what do you mean that the ess is an unspoilt breed by man IMHO ANY K.C BREED HAS BEEN SPOILT BY MAN .

dont want to get into an arguement but Ive seen the dog working many times many years ago it was nothing specail you maybe work & breed a differant standard of dog than me thats all i want to say on the matter

Hello sorry for delay my P.C freezes all the time waitting on some spyware or something.J.Jones i have a high standard on dog's but i will admit that i dont put as much effort in but i can work 3 dog's in the BEATING line at bigish pheasant day's with no worry's.I do fancy trying running lab's at a trial but i dont have the time nor money & dog's but it is in me to try 1 day.This ESS dog was like many grouse keeper's dog's you see this dog was good but let go because they like rangie dog's on the hill.I liked this dog's size tempremint & he was well bred too i thought it would be nice to get that but i will have to look for a pup as the line's still exsist but im after bigish strong ESS like the old style.I have plenty time i think so i will sit it out for a while im after a cocker first.
