how to make wire rabbit tealers

Could anyone give me the measurements, instructions and type of wire used to make rabbit snare tealers.

here is how i do it out of 16 gauge stainless steel steel fixing wire.

cut off 1 metre of wire

fold in half

hold ends in vice

insert cuphook held in electric drill (rechargeable best) in formed loop,and twist up.

bend around template.

twist free ends around the main body.

i make these 101/2 inches long

i find these work really well

woodman them pics is it me or are they spun too much as i been makeing a few and when there over spun they catch on there self and dont run freely?

you are right the wires are spun to tight and won,t function properly, a 9 1/2, inch tealer is better for shorter grass , 10 1/2 for higher grass , 2.5 mil. galvanized fenceline wire is what you need for tealers , if you use thin wire , its forever bending , and you are forever straightning and wasting time ,don,t use high tensil wire for tealers as you cannot get it bent ,

Hi ya mate theres a guy on ebay who makes them!! theyre pretty good i have brought a few and now make my own copying them!!
