semi-automatic shotgun

Recommended Posts

well Ive just picked up a hatsan escort from a pidgeon watch member, for the price I payed Im well happy, less than a year old and immaculate condition, Im out shooting on the 28th, so Ill stick my review up after that

best advice i can give you mate, is only use 70mm carts, any thing else and you will get jams.

well, Ive got 250 pidgeon carts that Im going to use, only 67mm 32g but the guy I bought from assures me thats all thats been through it,with no jams.

also talking to my RFD, he reckons the jamming problem is more on the 3 1/2" chambers than the 3" which I have, we'll have to wait and see

well you wasnt going to say the gun was shit was you lol :gunsmilie:

how you getting on with the stupid button you have to press to load it ? i can imagine that being a load of fun on a busy pigeon day

the forum seems to be tits up at mo, so having to use my missus's screen name to get on,

not having used any other semi before, I dont find the button to be an inconvinience, but can understand if the pidgeons were coming in quick, it may hamper loading a little, but seems they have now brought out a mk2 version that deals with that, the button has been removed and is now located on the bottom loading tray, so the cartridge pushes the button in, as your loading the gun, or you flick it when loading one in the barrel

I want to buy one semi-automatic shotgun for shooting at pigeons, is the browning phoenix camo cal 12 mag 3,5" barell 76cm a good choice ?

Hi i have a browning A5 it 30 years cycle's any thing also have Barrett 303 am after a benelli as they are so much lighter than my old browning but i don't think i will ever part with it you wont go fair wrong with a browning.
