Get over to a scrapyard you want a wiper motor complete with mount plate and robber bushes(sorry can't remember what car the motor came from you'l just have to search ) and a couple of bonnet stays. Tools little MIG welder 8mm die nut hacksaw +3 penny washers and six 8 mm nuts.If this is the sort of diy rota you want i will try and get some pics up tommorow.atb.

scraped my old car the other week so got to wind screen motors. how long do you make the arms on the rotary is there a set distance? i guess they have to be equal to keep it balanced. thinking of making it with four arms.

any one know where to get a good speed switch from?
