andyfr1968 772 Posted December 2, 2009 Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 Hi, mate. I owned an HW80 for a long time and really rated it. Top class springer! I'd never used the TX until a short while ago when I had the chance to use a mate's. Well impressed! They are both on the heavy side, the HW's maybe a little easier to use being a break-barrel, but the TX shoots so much better. Hardly any recoil and a trigger that's very nearly as good as the Record unit on the HW. Whatever you go for, you won't go far wrong but if I was going for another springer, I think I'd go for the TX. Cheers. Quote Link to post
