Its a short barrel , so the crack it let off was quite loud and this was my main concern . Anyway , after a few phone calls , txt's , and generall chat i had this turn up . It came with the agreement i should try it and if it needed anything altering , or i was'nt happy in anyway it should be returned and re worked to suit my needs . Although i stipulated that i waned to sort out the payment before it was in my hands , this kept getting put to one side and i was continually told " im not worried about the cash , just wanna make sure the shrouds good "Well to say its quiet is an understatement , it just makes my action sound loud . I have had nothing short of fantastic service , and quality workmanship . Along with the garuntee that should i ever have any trouble " it'll be sorted " oh and just to add , he also said that the one i have lined up next ( i asked for one on my 177 barrel aswell ) will be chearper as he's not used as much materialas he thought ! johnbaz 363 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 I hated the plastic stock that mu Brocock Hunter came on so I had a running search on fleaby and eventually a nice thumbhole stock came up, the wife bid on it for me as I was at work.. I told her to put a maximum bid of £50 on and won it for £46 It's much more comfy to shoot and fwiw, I think it looks much nicer too (rather have wood than Glassfibre any day!! -Lupo- 4 Posted April 24, 2013 Report Share Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) so here is my HW 97 used for Field Target (.177, V-Mach, Trigger tune) And this is one of the nicest HW 35 you have ever seen ;-) This is a HW35 Export, mod. of 2012, 470mm barrel, .177 caliber I customized the stock, now its lighter in front, the wood is oiled walnut. Trigger is also customized and polished everywhere, a compensator of the HW 100 is also mounted. I mounted a 3-9x40 Scope, cause i use this rifle only at 15meters. No hunting with it.
