Guest fence_hopper Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 telll them you want to do abit of ferreting, without a dog, be polite find something to have a little jangle about to break the ice. and if you do mannage to get permition thank the farmer and ask him doe's he wont any rabbits to eat. (always let them no when your there) after you gain his trust and been there a number of times ask him if theres no livestock in the field would he mind me bringing my little whippet make sure you tell him that she's well behaved. some farmer dont like the word lurcher coz its a poachers dog. a few ideas its there for you, its has worked for me in the past best off luck mate or if they have any problems with rats is another one but ferreting is better to ask imo Quote Link to post
