i have 120 acres permision to snare i have about 50 snares out at the moment in a popular place for rabbits but dont seem to be getting anything thre is a mixture a four and six strand brass snares and a few stainless out i have caught 2 rabbits on stainless in the past month so whats going wrong they are fixed fence snares can someone help me out please

Are the runs regularly used? If you are fence snaring, you normally can see a little bit of discolouring on where the rabbits are hopping through depending on what type of fence. Is there anybody else on your permission? You're more then likely setting them wrong. Personally, i wouldn't be using 4 ply snares for fence snaring at this time of the year. How are you setting them? Send me a picture or something? I'm not the best at snaring, but since i've been working with a keeper i'm much better.
