Found it at last, phew !

Hello guys, a few months ago i got myself back into hunting with air rifles and after a lot of bad luck with springers i decided to go for the pcp's instead witch seems to have been a pritty good choice apart from the money side of it as iv spent well over a £1000 on rifles, mounts, scopes, slings and cleaning kits, charging bottle, tins and tins of pellets shooting gloves, face vails, rifle cases, paper targes, target holders, pellet catchers, gun lamps, moderators, phew sorry guys iv run out of breath give me a second to get my breath back ....................... ........................... Right where was i ? oh yes thats it, iv spent a fortune and i still need harris tilting bipod, nets, decoys a hide, rifle rest, range finder, and more scopes, phew think thats it for now ??? :shok: :shok. So iv spent my life saving & sold all my sea fishing gear on ebay, remorgaged the house, sold my SUZUKI GSX-R 600 super sport motocycle and bought a 2001 deisel van :shok: so dont think for one second of the day that im not taking this shooting game seriously :11: THE MISSIS IS GOING FLIPPING WILD but more to the point, a good few weeks back i decided to look for an air rifle club to improve my shooting skills witch are at the moment quit basic to say the least and also to learn about my new £10.000 a year hobby, ie gun maintanence ect. As always www come to mind and i started my search for the nearest air gun club & found the Furness Marksman rim fire & air gun club, but no web site, phone number or address ??? More recently i went to blackpool to buy, yep another load of gear for my new found hobby im sure i could here the missis screaming at me as i was driving down the M6 onto the M55 but hey more to the point when i got there they asked me if i was in an air gun club and i told them iv been looking for my local club but i wasnt having much look finding it. Being very helpfull peope at blackpool air rifles ltd he got on his computer and found a map with directions as to the club's location witch is only a five minute drive from my home so yesterday i went to the site and introduced myself and gave them an insight into my interests & what i would like to learn witch is everything, after all you dont spend what iv spent & have the arguments with the missis over the amount of money a mear hobby is costing but more to the point :11: i got talking to one of the friendly lads there called steve if i remember rightly and he gave me a good idea of what they do at the club witch was right up my street. Anyhow i mensiond to steve that im very interested and id like to become a probationary member of the club as soon as next saturday as its the only day they shoot air rifles there at the moment. So this is my new venture i and il keep you informed of whats what at my new found club, thanks for listning ! Oh i nearly forgot, when i was writing out that list of items some of you might have noticed chronograph was missing! Well i did actualy buy one but i couldnt for the hell of me work it out so i exchanged it for a battery charger for the batterys in my gun light see as you can see im quit a simple basic type of guy and i dont have a degree in chronographing or maths so guess this should be mission number one, learn how to use the chrono . Alright mart pups are spot on mate, tykey boy clicked onto chasing rabbit and very nearly had 2 but missed them by a whisker.

Its moved sean, its at the old gas works site down the old paper mills road of salthouse road. Its a good little range aswell & they have compatitions there and with other clubs .
