Go to your local RFD, ask to look at Hawke or 3x9x40 scope & mounts, silencer will not make any difference on this as the action is louder than the muzzle raport, look for a care kit with cloths silicone oils etc, look for pellets that fit your rifle in the breech as they have a tight choke on the xocet, I would take your rifle in with you so you can test pellets in breech if they permit.

Hi, mate.

The Xocet's a really nice basic springer.

As Foxon's said, the mechanical noise on them can be quite bad (not as bad as a Lightning though), I fitted a gas-ram to mine and it's made a hell of a change to the gun! Much quieter, no more rattles and twangs and no need to worry about leaving it cocked for too long.

Have a look at the JSR range of scopes as well. Top value and a good firm to deal with.

Cheers.

Donnyc will be your man for the Gas Ram, he is on THL & you will not find it cheaper. The Gas Ram will improve the rifle in many ways, it will be a lot quieter with a smoother action, half the recoil of the springer & a cleaner trigger pull, if you do go the Gas Ram route it would be worth while fitting a sound moderator.

Yup!

Donny's a straight bloke to deal with. I've had three kits from him and no problems.

Cheers.
