ok guys i have a conundrum for you.

i am currently studying engineering at level 3 national diploma i have got one year under my belt at ddistinction level but i hate it.

i have also applied for a level 3 national dipploma in countryside management to start next year so i would leave halfway through my engineering one and do another course which i want to do (the only reason i did engineering was because i was on the said countryside course but it was cancelled at another college)

so i can either do the diploma in countryside management and then progress after two years to do a foundation degree or i can complete the second year of the engineering course i despize and then move on to do the foundation degree in countryside management with only my own knowledge and not a course in the subject under my belt like my pushy parents say i should.

they dont seem to understand that another year of succeeding easily at something i hate would be crap in comparison to living in a bed sit but getting to do what i want.

any ammunition to my argument or advice appreciated

thanks

rob
