For the abstract, truly a gift you have, wise one!!

With body shots, do you need to remove the head before posting, or is the impact so great that the hydroulic shock through the body just blows it off?

Cheers.

Edit to say: What range do you zero your formidable combo? Not to go off topic....

Zeroed at 350 ....cough ... inches and at 400 I have to hold over 2 yards. A bit like a .25 really . Bloody recoil is from another planet though.

you guys make me laugh

you have brightened my boring day of revision :D;)

It's a sad day indeed when you can't have a laugh.

By the way, I've always used a 30 yard zero, whatever caliber. Seems to be a good compromise. Almost forgot to post a reply to your question!

Cheers. :)

Gat gun.

Open sight.

Darts (must have red flights, blue and green wander too much in cross winds).

500 yard zero.

Any big game animals that wander through my garden.

Cheers. ;)

here funny yiou should say that... the red were better in a gatt! hehehehe better that throwing the gun at lol

Yeah. I tried the yellow ones for a while but they were total overkill.

So much damage to the carcass that the animal was only fit for the dogs and the slaves.... Or Ginsters....

Cheers.

neh the yellows were ok for your mate to use, then you can take the wet hahahaha...

20 yards (newbie and can't judge distances very well yet)

Weihrauch HW 100T

PCP

.22 Air Arms Field

Scope, Hawke Sport HD 3-9x50 mildot

Magpies and wood pigeons

Tried zeroing at 30 yards but couldn't hit anything closer so set it at 20 and now doing a lot better. I'm pretty much a newbie and the holdover does my head in so I'm trying to use the mildots in the scope and the size of target at different ranges to judge distances. I really could do with someone to help me practice with this lol! :o

30 yards

Logun Axsor 8 shot standard length

.22

sub 12ft lbs

Ritchter Optik 3x9x50 AOE scope

AA Diabolo field pellets

keeping topped up to 150-160 bar not the full 200bar, as this gives me 11.4 ft lb. it drops to 9.2 if I fill it right up.

Harrier .22 three different types of sights

normally not beyond 30 yards so set tasco 4x32 for this range.

Accuracy, not exactly zeroed on paper, more like consistantly beating hell out of a baby food can at that range.

Useage:-

1/tasco 4x32, rabbit out to 30 yards no problem.(bisley field)

2/cheapy laser, no sights, just line up the dot, rats, 10 yards max (wadcutters)

3/Red dot, woodies in grain barns, 10 yards (wadcutters)

Skan Swift .25 cal

Zeroed at 30yrds (used for rats in 30yrd long chicken sheds)

Aries MK6 second generation night optics.

.25 @ 12lbs gives a bit of a bananna trajectory but the rats drop where they're hit instead of disappearing into the shed linings and stinking the place out, best night I had 93, regularly get 50+.

Unfortunately my 10/22 was making too many holes in the far end of the sheds.
