heres the ad

I have for sale a lively miniature bull terrierhes roughly 17 month old and is a lovely lad i am selling as he does not get on to well with one of my dogs so must go . He is good with my young boy so good with kids. He can be kenneled or live in house and is very clean in both. he is a very strong boy and his collar and lead are included .. Good long term homes only

£250 is a big jump from the £50 paid for him :nono: not saying it set out to be but this seems to be about a little money earner instead of the dog!!!

before people start slating here me out to be fair its not uncommon for dogs to get sold, the fact that he ragged my missus cat didnt go down very well, my lurcher keeps nipping at him and there has been some serious standoffs. Its just my lurcher he has issues with. So the missus kinda demanded he went thats why the price as i dont really want him gone, but if he does then it is strictly good homes only he is fantastic with me i he has come on really well and yes it would be a shame to see him go and for the people that are good with the maths as i can see the cat was a bengal that cost £200. feel free to ask anymore questions as im not hiding anything and i assure you hes a beauty... thanks Dan

Im looking for replys as i said nothing to hide im an honest lad and thats it , to be fair its definately not bout the money and i love this dog wouldnt it be wrong to get rid of my lurcher that ive had for ages and from a pup, he only seems to get on well with other lurchers so i may consider another lurcher thats a worker. I hate the fact that dogs get passed around its not my style.. As it said in the ad long term homes only and vetted owners..

Well that's as good a reason to sell as any I suppose. But why not let derbylad know? Why not sell it for the £50 you paid for it, to a good decent home? Not being funny but when I've been forced to sell a dog before now, I didn't sell it for £600 because I'd paid out for jabs, wormer, an op after an accident and wanted my money back? It's sad the dog ragged the Mrs' cat but it's a Bully - they tend to do things like that, especially when you get them as adults and don't know their socialisation history. Perhaps a bit more thought would have helped prevent this, I'm gutted for you having to part with him but if I was in your shoes and somebody offered me £250 for him, I'd be sending the £200 to the guy who gave him to me at such a ridiculously cheap price on the hope that he had a home for life. JMHO. Shame I have my hands full, I'd have loved him and he'd have been going nowhere. :)

Cheers :victory:

fair do's mate but £200 profit just leaves you open to critisism, i mean whats the 200 notes gonna do undo the damage already done to the cat???

Well thanks for that i want him to settle in and stay somewhere but what people are not understanding is that i don wanna keep him under lock and key 24/7 its not fair, the cat thing was daft but my missus decided they where friends one night i was in bed not a mistake id be making im sure of that...As i said its not about the money and ive had no offers .
