  1. Oh yeah I'm not saying I know everything but I know enough that it wasn't my fault that the fish end up this way, I'm trying to exclude that the fish that end up in this brutal way is a fisherman a fault, it was a small muppet btw! I thought if I wanted a flatty I wanted one where I can feel the fight haha and I don't tie my own feathers because I like the set I've got, I'm a superstitious fisherman and they've been good, and I don't know about the commercial fishing around brid area but I think it's cos of that mate
  2. Tubes at the moment mate haha, gonna crack on with revision anyway! Probably wont have chance next week so this friday ill probably post how bad and terrible i was but if i do get anything i post a couple of pics! Cheers guys
  3. i think it could be something to do with the fisheries? Maybe not though.. Or it could be that some kid has brought it up, hacked it then thrown it back :L But if other anglers had had other fishing experiences like this then it could be the same thing... I dont know really at the end of it what could have caused it so it seems like a problem still.
  4. No...im no troll? Im wondering what could cause my sights to always be off, i think its my gun sleeve? anyway thanks for the help guys, ill sort it
  5. its just this box standard that i got with the gun, air arms? most probably the worst XD but like i said ill get back to you with it Do you recommend anything?
  6. Theres an allotment thats quite large and a few pigeons up there but theyre too clever for me XD I would but its a lot of hassle to take a picture from my ipod to put to my computer, my old catty is useless, going in the bin pretty much now haha Ill take a pic on probably wednesday/thurs of the new one with the ammo. Can i see your slingshot?
  7. oh? no you dont understand..? I'm not dishing out advice or anything? i'm asking if people get injured fish because i was worried i'm going to carry on getting them if i start going to other places... and i have been fishing all my life, i don't pretend to know EVERYTHING but yeah i do know a fair amount on fishing? Someone obviously didn't read my apology? I thought we had all started getting along... thats why im asking things and posting... seems to me like a bunch of lads who just want to put down a kid for trying... now im not getting all cocky but if that was the case then you all b
  8. They were small feather hooks, size of a finger nail haha but the bait hangs off it, thanks for the advice though:) ill use it next week if im off that is? -Jay
  9. not sure what the scope is exactly, ill get back to you on that and just been speaking to someone and it might be because its been dropped before, pulling it out the car it fell on the floor and we think the scope is damaged a little, any recomendations of a new scope? Might get one soon after a couple weeks more work, might treat myself
  10. Hey everyone. Pretty annoyed today as I was cleaning the S4 10F and everytime I take it out its gun sleeve the scope becomes off sight... its a tedious minor trouble but I think its because the gun case is a little too thin for the actual gun and it like... notches it off? Going to buy a slightly bigger one anyway because it has a tear that ive had to sew up from top to bottom but its unthreading again... Just want to know also how to keep my scope good and clean and that as the eye piece always gets mangled up with crap and such and the adjustment caps keep getting stiffer so i have t
  11. Cheers! Thats put quite a bit in perspective now Think ill go tonight with my older catty and get the last bit of use from it now
  12. Quite a sad day as a fisherman for myself. If your reading this your probably a fishing enthusiast and as ive been fishing nearly all my life, not just sea, but course and becoming quite the fly fisher myself im getting quite intelectual about how to fish, not just swinging a rod out but the finer detail (Time of day, season, weather, rigs, bait, what fish, where etc...) but... Whilst fishing on Bridlington harbour wall (my local) every fisherman/woman/child knows its not what it was, you can wait from high till low, whatever season wherever on the wall using whatever you have, some days
  13. I need a better perspective haha im a begginner you see, whats normally classed as heavy?
