  1. Here's a couple of poor snaps of her Ciaran, a friend uploaded them to photobucket for me so it took a little while http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n495/AdamArmagh/Mobile%20Uploads/F_05_zps262b55ce.jpg http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n495/AdamArmagh/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-01-14112831_zps54739d40.jpg She's decided to sit so I got a close up... http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n495/AdamArmagh/Mobile%20Uploads/20150114_112032_zpscbc3efaa.jpg]
  2. I've always found it to be inexpensive and easy to obtain. Ask in your local vets, I go to mine and buy it half a litre at a time. It's the injectable version but works fine diluted in water.
  3. Alwways used Levacide myself (cattle & sheep wormer). 2ml per litre for 2 days and repeat in a fortnight.
  4. See if I can get a snap tomorrow bud.
  5. Native lines are very often jelously guarded wheras you are able to internet search and source eggs from American lines if your halfway savy you can arrange a way of bringing eggs in frim US. They will eventually replace or subsume the English lines but not necessarily due to superiority as much as availability. Imo!
  6. PM me pls if you come by any more regulation's?
  7. Breeding in and in is good if the fowl are up to it. You're essentially doubling up on every inherited trait they share in common, good and bad. Bro to sis is fine with quality families.
  8. Whereabouts roughly are you? I have a few spare (gingers) here in Northern Ireland. I call em miniatures rather than bantams. Same approximate weight but look bigger than oEgb's
  9. I've a little dun pullet running around. Shan't be using her as I know nothing about the line. Hard feathered little article with a nice red eye... Think I'm the wrong side of the water for you though!
  10. A friend of mine had them on mixed corn but penned fairly small. 4 mnths they were like roast turkeys coming out of the oven... One of them made it till 6 months and was still tender roasted!
  11. Stealing a mans fowl is a low down rotten act. They are oftentimes the culmination of years of hard work. Hope they are retrieved and if not I hope the thieves get no luck with them.
  12. Firstly, thanks for the add to the forum. Looks very interesting and I'm sure I will enjoy browsing through the various game fowl related topics here. I am in the market for a dozen game tethers, pref neoprene hitches with flexicord or polyprene style cord to prevent tangling and metal rather than pvc swivels. I have a source but have heard that it's possible to obtain them more affordably. (Perhaps from the PI's?) I need them to be very reliable and sensibly priced. I realise that UK shipping can sometimes be an issue so any advice or information will be greatly appreciated!
