  1. Evening all, I'm a very keen Pigeon/Corvid shooter who is looking for some new permission(s) anywhere in Suffolk (I live in Suffolk but don’t mind travelling) I’m fully BASC insured, have 20 plus years experience and all my own equipment. I also can provide references aswell. I’m more than happy to help others who may just need another pair of hands. As we all know gaining new permission is extremely difficult, but I feel I can offer a good service to the land owner and help reduce crop/livestock damage. Thanks In Advance
  2. Thank you Philpot I was not aware of this. All the best
  3. Hi Terryd I appreciate your feedback, I will continue to try and fingers crossed something will come up. As regards to helping out at shoots I understand what you are saying completely. This said I would like to get involved with some beating anyway. All the best.
  4. Hi Meece, I understand what you are saying and those who do that sort of thing mess it up for everyone. I will keep plugging away and see what happens. All the best
  5. Thanks Dervburner, yes I appreciate there isn’t any beating going at the moment. But I do have some local shoots close by so I will get in touch and see if there is any I can do to help and maybe get the chance to go beating during the season. Thanks
  6. I am of the thinking you don’t get if you don’t ask and will continue to do so. Yes this is something that I wolld love to get involved with and like you say May then open other doors for me. Appreciate the advice ??
  7. Yeh I don’t disagree with you, I have been unlucky In my attempts so far.... always seem to have some one already.
  8. Evening All, Apologies for posting most probably in the wrong forum, but the pigeon shooting wanted/offered page hasn’t had anyone post for a couple of years? Does anyone know why this is or have I missed something. All the best
  9. Thanks mole trapper, I will await his reply. Cheers
  10. Thanks for the replies guys, I have contacted him but no reply as of yet. I have looked on tw chambers and see they list two mainsprings one of which is 27 coils and 230mm oal, but I have got the larger one which is 33 coils and 280mm oal. I'm guessing this is where my problem lies. Hopefully hear back soon!
  11. Thanks for the replies guys, does anyone know how I can contact either Nick gibney or "wonky donkey"
  12. Hi guys, bought a TBT tuning kit for a hw80k as the gun was second hand and had broken spring. Only thing is the spring is far too long. Does anyone know what the length the standard spring should be in a hw80k .177 or will the TBT one need cutting down. Thanks
  13. Thanks for the reply guys, I am mainly hunting with it to be honest. I just bought a HW80k second hand and I already have another one but I bought this one cheap as it has broken main spring and a few other dubious mods! A quick question though do all 80's need to have a piston sleeve. I am looking at dropping in a TBT kit but they don't come with a sleeve like v Mach? thanks
  14. Thanks for the reply guys, I had polished all the internals already myself. And yes it has improved but some of the rltuning these other guys do look great and the guns seems to hardly recoil.
  15. Hi, does anyone know of any good tuners for my HW97K .177 in 12ft lbs. I am based in east Anglia and have watched various videos of a guy called "shooting at dawn" on you tube all of which are excellent. I really like work he has shown done by Nick gibney, if anyone has any contact details for him that they wish to share that would be great, or if you know of anyone local to me please share. My 97 is a great gun but I'm looking just to tighten things up just a bit more. I have fitted V-Mach kits to my HW80 but find it just recoils a lot harder. I'm really interested to hear of anyone's exp
