  1. Humm no offers then.... hope the new year brings some luck for you all
  2. Its not nice huh still it persists too I went to bisley shooting ground yesterday killed a few clays but got drenched through to bone. Ahh well happy new year looking forward to a hose pipe ban soon
  3. Rabbits are fine by me..... Quite happy to help if needed just a distance thing I'm in Aldershot Hampshire and drive a petrol series 3 landy that likes a drink. Drop me a pm if you don't want to disclose info on the forum but how far away are you 60 miles would be about my limit for a days shoot as the cost starts to get high for fuel etc etc Let me know Cheers for the reply Pete
  4. Where abouts in west oxford and is it a perm that will allow use of a shotgun Im dying to get out shooting I'm failing drastically with getting my own perms around Hampshire and would kill for some good sport
  5. Is there anything like this in the south I'm drawing huge blanks at the moment and getting fed up with knock backs or getting totally ignored every where I ask to shoot Even the farmers forums are drawing dud plenty of them moaning about crop damage and lost live stock but still refuse permission for people to shoot Hope you can help Pete
  6. Hi Just wondered if anyone has removed the auto safety bar from the action for clay shooting. I have removed the rear stock and can see the bar that operates this feature I have seen on another forum that if I cut the bar in half both ends can be just pulled free but I'm not sure about this Any help greatly received Cheers Shotgun Pete
  7. Hi guys After doing a number of trips round the local farms, golf courses, nurserys, even rubbish tips over the last couple of years I have come to the firm conclusion that I'm not going to get my own land to shoot over. I do have a golf course permission that will only allow air rifles at night due to the close proximity of residential buildings and noise from live fire wepons. I'm keen to get out with my shotgun a learn the art of pigeon decoying from a hide and would appreciate someones help that can provide an opportunity to share there permission with me and show me the ropes
  8. I'm with the old landy post I run a series 3 and its great I have had all manner of 4x4 wagons but always end up back with an old bone shaker Beemers a nice car but no ofroader even with thousands spent on mods just ask Russ Malkin from race to Dakar there support car broke more than the bikes racing.... Awkward hehe
  9. Baikal mine seems solid built and fairly well put together. For the 300 quid your not that far off new gun territory for Baikal either... Mine has a single selector trigger for top or bottom barrel first with ejectors that will only eject the spent cases, it will not launch an unfired shell miles Behind you. Its clean and tidy and most importantly cheap at 165 pounds sterling from a dealer. Ok so its no top of the line gun and its not even getting close to runner up for best looking gun if the year BUT it goes bang and then bang again every trigger pull and that's all I need.
  10. Hi thanks for the welcome Been mooching round the site some good stuff on here
  11. Sorry my post should have read Aldershot can a moderator please edit accordingly
  12. Evening guys and girls Firstly a huge merry Christmas to everyone and I hope you have all enjoyed it so far. My name is pete, I'm a keen outdoorsman and enjoy most types of out door pursuits. I can often be found mooching around local byways in my landy taking in the sights, fishing or walking the dog however i am also a keen shooter and until recently have only been hunting with airguns but clay shooting for years with a friend, just before Christmas I recived my shotgun certificate and now own 2 12g shotties as well as my 7 air rifles. I'm hoping that you the members can help
