I went two years ago mate for 4 months, went shearing out there and I could have found loads of other work. The hunting was awesome went pig hunting with dogs that was amazing got some great pics I can put up, shot a few wallaby, possums and rabbit shooting a few nights never seen so many rabbits in my life the fields(paddocks) were just crawling with them. Done a fair bit of fishing as we'll. if I was 20 I'd be out there again mate. It costs a bit to get there but by the sounds you got a trade so you will find work get some money to pay for your stuff meet some people and your away. Go for

We will be starting again next weekend, got a new bitch pup to try out this season so getting keen now to see how she goes. She has fitted in well the other dogs so time will tell. Been tempted to do a few early starts been nice an cold early on!

Hi, been hunting since I was very young, mainly terrier work. Off a farm. Was a member of this site a good while ago and due to life's commitments lost time for everything. Still got my dogs and doing some work but trying to get everything back up and running again ready for winter approaching. Looking forward to reading other peoples experiences.
