  1. If you want a second opinion, you can watch the verminhunterstv vid of the show and the man on the hull cartridge stand says that the left hand option is factory only/not user changeable.
  2. Well she was a qualified shooting coach so I suspect she knew a bit about rifles.
  3. The info in the vid said , the cocking leaver can be changed from right to left by the user Giles makes a good video, and he may have got the info from someone else, but the lady from Hull cartridge that I specifically asked while I was having a go, said there were other things to change than the lever. One is a piece that stops the mag from going in the wrong side or being pushed through. She said it required opening the gun up and would invalidate their warranty. you can see the piece she pointed out at 1:06 in the video at the bottom of the mag slot.
  4. Apparently the changing of the left to right handed is a gunsmith job. At least the lady from hull cartridge said the warranty would be void if you swapped it yourself. Was nice to handle and lighter than the 100.
  5. If i told you lunch was served between 12:00 and 13:00 you would know when you could get fed and wouldn't expect to get food at 13:01. What's wrong with the wording between 14 and 18 years then? Same with over 18. 18 and 1 hour is over 18.
  6. So they turned up on the day they said to collect the parcel for next day delivery and you didn't give it to them? Of have I missed something? exactly as automatically if the parcel is not collected by 6pm a failed to collect is started and the order is cancelled, would you want your parcel floating about with no record of it Fair enough I had missed something then. I didn't know about the 6pm cut off.
  7. So they turned up on the day they said to collect the parcel for next day delivery and you didn't give it to them? Of have I missed something?
  8. I seem to remember with the last cocking of the goldstar the mag indexed half a turn so the probe wouldn't go forward again. I loved my one and keep my eye out for others as I regret seling/PXing it. although I wouldn't have had my FN19 if I hadn't. Simon
  9. One other reason for your wandering hole is that after a while the hole is so big that you can't aim at a single fixed point anymore. So one shot creeps a bit to the left, the aim point is wider so you aim a little to the left, which pushes the pellet further to the left.... Try giving your top turret a dozen up clicks. Your pellets won't be hitting where you aim, but the group will probably be tighter.
  10. It also depends on what you want it for. Super high mag, huge objectives scopes for Field Target are stupidly expensive. >£1000 Evening/night hunting in fields, something with a big objective medium mag. Hunting rats in barns, maybe smaller objective and low mag. Hunter field target. something in 40mm objective with 10x mag fixed. Night vision, side focus, large objective and watch out for IR reflective lens coatings. All my opinions, so make of it what you will, I went for a Hawke sidewinder 6.5 - 20 x 42 as I wanted something OK for all round stuff and it suited my eyes better
  11. Why is it surprising that it doesn't come with a bottle or pump? They guy might be keeping his bottle for the other dozen pcp's he's still got. It's not being sold as a kit to get you started. It may come with an adaptor, but as it's a standard foster fitting it may not, but they are cheap enough to get. Remember bottle or pump will set you back ~£150 depending on what you get.
  12. It advertised as "full power" I just don't think the guy can shoot, he needs more practice. http://www.sportsguns.co.uk/bargains/rugerered-1.html

  14. Welcome and no, you still need permission. Also pheasants are subject to closed seasons.
  15. It will be near 1 mildot at 45 yards on your scope, 1.4 inches drop, not half mildot. You will have to set up chairgun with a first focal plane scope reticule rather than the hawke one you have it set to. Or set the program to the magnification where the mildots are true. 10x or 20x on the hawke depending on the one you picked. For your scope, it won't matter what mag you use as the aim points will be the same. That's kind of the point of the FFP scopes. Simon
