  1. Aye up lads, I believe the Pro Sport will be on offer with a left handed stock, in walnut very shortly. Just thought I`d put it out there.
  2. Hi Mushroom, Sorry for the late reply, a cold smoker buddy with oak dust, way, way better than shop bought kippers.
  3. Try a little smoking lads. Home smoked - kippers.
  4. THE worst gun I`ve ever owned was a plastic Crossman 766 pump up rifle ,( is that right ? ) Feck me that gun was horrendous. As a school kid, the summer of 76, I was lined up at just 20 yards " ish "on a huge carrion crow and missed The crow was oblivious to me in the hide and stayed put, until - clack ! clack! clack ! clack! clack ! clack! clack ! clack ! clack ! clack ! me pumping that bag of shite up for a no chance second shot. Still angry !
  5. Had a nice 3 hour session with HW 77 long today, slow going and bitterly cold but I loved every minute of being out there lads. The wood pigeons are still hitting the rape crops but getting near them is very trying, they are so, so Wiley, the Boom! Boom! boys had a full session on them last wednesday, with shot guns, got one shot off and that was it ! Check zero. So I thought I`d try last weeks tactics again, full leaf suit top to bottom inc` hands and head, Primos shooting sticks/ bucket seat and in amongst the hedgerows.
  6. He always has to rib me does`nt he, - he's jealous.
  7. Well I stand corrected there Jimmy, I would`nt be without this 97 of Simon`s,( Pianoman`s )now. They are a truly, serious bit of kit in the field.
  8. Ditto to the above, P.S. A big welcome to the forum LR and little LR.
  9. So, you've bought a " Zimmer frame " as well then eh ? Twat. x
  10. Had a three hour static session this afternoon lads looking for grey squirrels. Full leaf suit on, in amongst the hedgerow, bucket seat and primos sticks, nothing spooked so I,m hidden well. I`m tight in the hedgerows and wood pigeons started to land in the trees and also the rape seed crops, just came from nowhere. Forgive the hasty photo lads, just no time to focus, they were off, very wily and alert as always. Here's the area of the rapeseed crop, clearly gorged on. Taking the photos saw the pigeons off for a good ho
  11. We eat squirrel quite often, my preferred meat of them all to be honest but I`ll just shoot them if that shit starts. Another thought is, what happens to any predators reproductive system if it predates Squirrel, especially the likes of our beautiful Hawks and Eagles, fox is also strongly in that mix. Makes you angry does`nt it, us air gunners do nothing but good and then land developers and scientists ruin the world, ( covid), mink, mixy, blah, blah, blah. building sites, roads, rail tracks, industrial estates ) am I ranting ?
  12. Yeah, I`m with Jimmy, take the 97`s in both cal`s Mitch, that would make some really good reading and pics. Pish taking aside of coarse, x
  13. My RFD stores guns for any length of time, incl` airguns for £1 / per week / per gun, fully insured as well by the way.
  14. Now that would be interesting Mitch, your thoughts after a hunting session with a sub 12 springer again. I`ve a good idea of your conclusions though .
  15. Spring is just around the corner Jimmy, if you start to get out in that fresh air it can only help buddy. Getting out in that countryside will sort the heart, soul and mind a lot Jimmy. atb buddy.
  16. Took the old lady out late afternoon today to a very testing spot with high canopies. No feeders involved, just a spot that gives a great shooting challenge. Just the one presentation - up through the underside of the head and exiting out dead centre of the brain giving instant despatch. atb. Mark.
  17. Cheers Rez Shhhhhhhh ! What do you reckon lads ? I I`ve tied some elastic onto each of the legs of that pelt so I can send it to Jimmy to keep his bald head warm this winter ? I`m not sure about the tail and the head flapping in the wind though ?
  18. Delicious simply fried in a frying pan, the American way. Not hard to skin at all by the way.
  19. The greatest control theory had me listening. You are pretty much in a position where you have to have the injection - the one that carries the tiniest tracker nematode. They know exactly where you are your entire life, wether you are good or bad, if you are bad and wanted - that's the end of you.Ha! They will eradicate all cash as " it carries the virus " everything will be electronic / card only - you are traced again. Slowly but surely absolutely everything will become traceable - EVERYTHING. You can put a lot of thought into those few sentenc
  20. My son's, girlfriend`s elderly father fell and broke his hip two weeks ago, his age - 79. He was operated on, told he had covid 19 and sent home after 4 days, yes 4 days after his op. He was taken back in a few days later , developed pneumonia and sadly died, ---------- yep lads, you guessed it,- his death certificate will state he died of covid !
  21. Yeah, must agree with you Phil but KG asks for a small, light, pcp and those none regulated Super 6 rifles with a 180 bar fill are unreal for the sweet 28 shots they give, absolutely on the mark. To be fair, I have never needed more than say 20 shots on a normal hunt, unless I`m decoying wood pigeons,( for me), then the spring piston rifles kick in. If my memory serves KG check out Vermin Hunters TV, I`m almost certain they did a full review on the Brocok Super 6 Elite buddy.- yep its there, just checked . Good luck with your choices KG
  22. The " lightest" easy handling pcp for me was a mates Brocock super 6 elite, skeleton stock. Charged to 180 bar only she gave 28 perfect shots and hell was that rifle accurate/ hard hitting, weighed about 3 1/2 lbs unscoped. Don't forget the well tried BSA Ultra SE, heavier than the super 6 but excellent also. The HW 100 in any format would be my preferred choice KG but I`m not carrying an elbow/ arm injury . Good luck KG, mend well buddy Mark.
  23. I understand your thoughts lads but the length of that steel fence, at a guess, would be about 1 mile plus. I was looking for the highest concentrations of tracks and to be fair, I`ve found them now and should help me considerably , they most certainly were`nt in two`s and threes, the main warrens I found were literally snow free with the amount of foot traffic. atb Mark
