  4. just thought you'd like to see these, found them when sorting through old photos with my mum today. Rusty this was my first ever lurcher when i was fifteen, lurcher x lurcher Rusty again with the neighbours kids, the dog was a superb all rounder about a year later, my first terrier pictured here the black and white pup at the back came into the equation, this terrier came from somerset a little place called Peasdown St John, which i believe now has been built on with a housing estate.   8. i do fish fingers in breadcrumbs and oven cook them, kids don't like the ready made shop brought ones anymore, refuse to eat them................. nita
  9. yes we do a lot of stews (grandma's recipe), curries, italian rabbit, bunnie burgers, rabbit fricasse and this year i'm going to do a rabbit pie, have done game pies including rabbit both hand raised and puff pastry. so will be good to try a nice tasty wholesome rabbit pie. regards nita and paul

  11. On the way back home we came across this small six holer. all netted up all of six purse nets! rabbit bolted and caught maggee all pooped out, too warm for her and us. Barney and Puff the end of the morning, five caught in total. all jointed, washed and ready for the freezer. regards nita and paul
  12. 2nd warren of the day all netted up 1st rabbit caught the two caught from this warren the four caught so far nita and paul
  13. the first warren to do Maggee waiting patiently all netted up ready waiting for a bolt 1st one caught 2nd one caught the first two at this warren. nita and paul
  14. you will need to make 12 large fish cakes 3 large baking potatoes Boiled and mashed with a little butter. enough fish to equal half the amount of mash made. i used for the above: 4 medium huss (caught earlier in the year), plus 2 salmon steaks and 2 tuna steaks. you can use any fish you like, 1 vegy oxo cube and seasoning to taste. fry the fish, flake and add to prepared mash and season. make into flat cake shapes egg wash and coat in flour, then shallow fry until golden approx 30 mins turning occasionaly. hope you enjoy, we had them for tea tonight with some broc
