  2. Agree they would be better off straight away, Pixel has knocked her loads of times, few times the nail right off and it takes days to heal enough
  3. Im really sorry to hear, what an awful thing to happen when in hospital too
  4. I always make Chilli in the slow cooker mmmm and venison casserole too, in fact most casserols
  5. As most have said, firm and consistent. Get it out to meet as many dogs as you can and off lead preferably, we take upwards of 18 and more mixed dogs out on our walks with the dog club and it is amazing the difference to the dogs even ones who started out being a bit dog aggressive, they all sort it out amongst themselves. A lurcher is supposed to be another 'hard to train breed' with the obedience lot, my dog is in the advanced class, ok she wouldnt do crufts, not as accurate but if I had wanted near perfection I would have a collie. All dogs can do the whole obedience stuff, just tr
  6. the 2 lurchers seem to be okay with them, its the greyhound and whippet that hate them, I have a load of ACP's sitting here ready
  7. My first car was an X reg Cavalier saloon in that China Blue colour I paid £150 for it, the mountain bike I bought the month before cost me £450 I go through cars like dinners, I buy scrappers to last me a wee while then I send them to my local scrappy the 'best' car I bought was at the time 5yrs old Escort LX turbo diesel with full fancy pack, electrics CD and stuff the best vehicle I had was the transit van, loved driving it, on the lookout for another now
  8. Lovely looking dog I am glad I can now correct anyone who tells me rubbish about it being a full grey
  9. SJM your dog's a cracker I keep saying to my hubby, naaahh dont fancy a bull x, no reason as I know nothing about hunting ability, Im just scared of what it would do to the cat but every one I see, I really like
  10. I have heard people talking about grews, I was told it was whippet X greyhound but others have told me its full greyhound, what is it supposed to be
  11. Suppose this is a bit like how long is a bit of string I have an ex racer, well im not so sure about what she did, probably not a lot she has always been a very nervous dog, had her 6yrs and took a year before she was happy letting my hubby touch her, now she is a big sook and not so bad. She is 13 nearly and her back end is starting to get weak, she is a good age and I hope to have her a while yet, but if her back end goes too much it wouldnt be fair keeping her struggling on so we are watching her A lot of folks have told me she is old for an ex racer as they dont live l
