  7. The problem i have with DSC1 and the whole FAC thing is that there are a lot of us that have many years of experience with firearms and shotguns have been forced to take this qualification . When i did mine 4 years ago one chap on the course had never been shooting did not have a FAC but could now call himself a stalker and be let loose with a centre-fire rifle which he has no realistic idea of what it is capable of. In my humble opinion yes it is a useful course but as has been said there is no substitute for experience. Big.T
  8. met bigt on a local shoot

top bloke with a brilliant dog

  9. Hi, here is my 4yr old dog called Blue. Very game dog, excellent retrieving all game and starting to calm down when beating. Wonderful temperament.
  10. Hi biffo, i think you will find they are purely ornamental, it would be very expensive to release any amoun of them. I do know of a couple of shoot that release half a dozen Golden pheasants with tere normal stock and then put a bounty o them on shoot days, i.e. if you shoot one it will cost you £50. There is also the issue of being more likely to be taken by predators as they are more visable. Tony
  11. I would be looking at around £1100 with scope. Sportsman are selling the gun at £1600 and scope at £800 approx.
