I think the question is slightly wrong. It shouldn't be "what's it worth" (as has been pointed out, a £1 is worth a £1), but "how much of it do you get to spend". We had a carpet mill, but none of our dogs really got on with it. We were constantly having to help the dogs move the carpet as it is quite high friction. We got a slat mill to replace the carpet mill and all our dogs use it without problem. The slat mill we have is not really long enough for my Saluki lurcher, though.

It is possible to find the alcohol content of a drink - C&E and trading standards need to do this to check that pubs, etc. aren't watering down their drinks. However, it requires quite an expensive piece of kit to do this and is done using a hydrometer, a refractometer and some sophisticated software.
