  1. Looks very similar in shape to one of my dogs. He also was from a rescue. We believe that he is a Boxer x Staffy
  2. Mine.. . A photo taken by me at Cadwell Park
  3. This is the mill (or an identical one) that we bought
  4. I think the question is slightly wrong. It shouldn't be "what's it worth" (as has been pointed out, a £1 is worth a £1), but "how much of it do you get to spend". Things that come out of your earnings that go to the government and local authorities... NI Income tax VAT IPT Fuel duty Alcohol duty Tobacco duty Gambling duty Air passenger duty Council tax Stamp duty ... and finally death duty
  5. We had a carpet mill, but none of our dogs really got on with it. We were constantly having to help the dogs move the carpet as it is quite high friction. We got a slat mill to replace the carpet mill and all our dogs use it without problem. The slat mill we have is not really long enough for my Saluki lurcher, though.
  6. It is possible to find the alcohol content of a drink - C&E and trading standards need to do this to check that pubs, etc. aren't watering down their drinks. However, it requires quite an expensive piece of kit to do this and is done using a hydrometer, a refractometer and some sophisticated software.
  7. So, I'm not the only Pastafarian here! As an employee in the basement at Reyholm Industries, I regularly worship at the temple of the FSM.
  8. I've got a Saluki lurcher called Nimbus. I was talking to someone over the jubilee weekend and they mentioned a country fair at Parham Park and that I should try my dog at simulated coursing. This is Nimbus at Brands Hatch greyhound track.
