i use a 300 nite hunter have been for the last 4 months no probs i use it with a yukon mono on the back of day scope range is very good and a good set of batterys last about 6 hours i use 2000ma aa rechargeables see rabbits well over 200yrds i only shoot at night and am doing ok about 90 rabbits in the last 4 months

you may have probs with the one you have as its a 3x mag you may be lucky and get the crosshairs in focus but my son in law still messing with his the best add on is a 1xmag and a low mag scope as for illumination its needs a lot so torches with ir lense wont work need to be a laser the more light you throw at it the better

i use a yukon spartan 1x24 on the back of my day scope works brill you do need some sort of ir illuminator to go with it if you want to see past 25 yds you can make your own mount out of 2 inch waste pipe and a bit of steel i will try add pics of mine if i can find out how to

i know this sounds dumb how do you carry rabbits with them

i know he use oddiforce parts but you have to mess about making it up and then sort power out nite hunter is out the box on the gun ready if you work the price of all the bits up off oddiforce then time rather just buy it done

you have to give him a ring he doesent put it on his website got mine 2 days after brill chap

no mate it was used on yukon mono on back of day scope same set up as mine but i have nite hunter ir on mine range of mine is well over 200yrd and thats seeing the rabbit not just the eyes

my son in law put one toghether of there site a 200w one its not very good i have a nite hunter 300w and is a lot brighter and like they say odiforce eats batterys mine last 6 hours on a good set
