I have two gills that will work or will make good pets. Must stay together as will not live with other ferrets, they are mother and daughter. My silver is a really bonnie lass and the albino is a very big gill. Free to good homes as I have too many on at the moment. Cumbria area. Please contact me will give any more info or pics. i just got two hobs and they are 16 weeks and were wild when i got them but i got advise off people on here and there spot on i kept spitting on the back of my hand and letting them lick it off and there know my scent now and i can put my hand in the cage and they just sniff and lick my hand, they occasionly nip but its not hard there just playing i think. There still abit nippy now when i hold them but i just say no!! in a asertive manner and they soon stop. I was loosing my confidence with them and felt more comfortable with the glove but you have got too be brave and just crack on with

thats brill am a newby to having ferrets and i do want to work them eventually but its no good if i cant hold em. i think its just confidence but ive gained a bit off hearing your tips thanks so much. just need practice and getting used to em. thanks again everyone. -

hey everyone i have just got two four month old hobs which have never been handled so there abit wild, i have been holding them alot with a glove on and stroking them with my other bare hand, took my glove off yesterday too hold them and they basically tore the skin off my hand lol. i just want some suggestions please on what i can do too or am i doing the right thing with a glove on untill they get used too being picked up. also i have been letting them lick cod liver oil out of my hand when they behave. Any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks.
