  1. Think I posted this in the wrong place earlier...? Hey guys, so after many attempts to procure some pigeon shooting/pest control (because I was told that farmers may need other things shooting not just pigeons) in my area I'm getting a bit disheartened. I'm not enjoying the fact that I'm unable to get involved in some form of crop protection on my area. My area is central scotland BTW. I have been shooting clays and the occasional duck shoot for a couple of years now. Have my shotgun licence and my own gun for about a year and absolutely love shooting can't get enough of it!   3. Did you manage to get anything? I'm in central belt also. Most of the farms round my way are leased I think so farmers just say no. it's seems to be very difficult to get permissions. I was asking for what ever they needed dealing with pigeons, rabbits , foxes ect but had no lock so far

  7. Hi all, my name is Stuart and I've been trying to get into airgun hunting for sometime now with little success finding it difficult to get land permission. I was wondering if anyone on here new of any airgun hunting clubs in central Scotland that I could go along to and maybe find something that way. I live near falkirk but I'm willing to travel within reason. Any advice would be helpfull and appreciated Thanks. Stu ~
  8. Hi all, my name is stu. been a member of the forum for some time now. I am trying to get in to air rifle hunting and have been for a while but i cant seem to be able to get a permission where i live or even in the surrounding area. The rifle i have is far from the best but i have a scope. I would love to upgrade to a better gun but i need to know ill be able to use it. I live in the falkirk area.... welll grangemouth actually and im looking for someone in the area to meet up with for a wee day out and maybe get some advice on where to find a regular permission. any help appreciated ch

  11. Apparently its better to ask someone to maybe tag along with them to a permission... So is there anyone who would be so kind as to let me shadow them on a hunt maybe? I'm quite new to this as you may have gathered but very keen. Willing to travel any reply appresiated. Thanks again stuart

Hiya Scott my name is stuart and i just joined the forum today. i also live in central scotland and im trying to get in to air rifle hunting. i like the kill it, cook it, eat it idea. also if what i do helps crop damage ect. then awsome. i am currently looking for my first permission and not having much luck. ive been to a couple of farms but it seems no one is in on a sunday . i spoke to one farmer who said he allready had too many people shooting on his land which is fair enough i suppose as it is his home. So i guess what im asking is do you know of any where tht might be looking f
