  1. Time for making jam again. My husband colllected 18 pound of red plums for me. Marabella plum jam is easy to make. You need. 6lb of plums 6lb of sugar half pint of water. Dissolve the sugar and water over a low heat, stir every few minuites. When dissolved add the plums and bring to the boil. Stir to stop it burning on bottom of the pan. Once it reaches setting point remove some of the stones. Warm jars and add jam. Looks a nice colour in the jars. Blackberry and apple this week.
  2. Yes you can use any liver. You might just have to alter the amounts.
  3. Rabbit liver pate seems to go down well in my house and it is easy to make. You need. 1 Fresh liver chopped into small pieces 2 Tablespoons of good butter 1 small onion finely chopped( I use red onions) 1 Garlic clove finely chopped Salt, Pepper, Red pepper flakes or Chilli and fresh Basil 2 Tablespoons of good Brandy You can increase the amounts as you wish. First melt the butter, then add the onion and garlic, cook until clear. Add the liver and seasoning. Cook until the liver is just cooked. Add the Brandy then
