  1. Im selling my iphone 4 16 gb phone. Its 10 months old and is as new with tiny little mark in bottom corner. £350 ono Garry
  2. You can load a 6.5 x 68 to launch a 95gr V max at over 4000 fps. Yup,it's a barrel burner. Popular on the Continent tho. Mountain goat at 500 yds. Hmmmmm...... Sounds like a fun foxing rifle Would surely put a smile on youre face when it hits mr fox.
  3. Both will do the job in hand. However I think the 6.5x55 would be better for stalking as you will be able to shoot heavier bullets. 25-06 is great, shooting flat but that extra velocity of the lighter weight bullets will cause a bit more damage to youre deer. 6.5x55 you can load 95 vmax for fox at 32-3300 fps. I think the 6.5 is more versatile and would be my choice as I shoot a 6.5x47. Just my op. Garry
  4. Hope to be headun up nyself just for a bit of crak and a look around. Hope it aint rainin! Garry
  5. Plenty more where thay came from so I will certainly be trying my best. Garry
  6. Thanks Mikey! Paul wilson modifyd the stock for me. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to hear the pop of the bisley magnum pellet ruinining their day! Garry
  7. Just thought id share with you a photo of a few crow I shot this afternoon in the calf house. Everytime I walk past it a flock fly over my head and theyre destroying the calf meal as they eat all the flaked maize out of it. I nailed a magpie on the silo wall aswell but it fell over the other side and I didnt go to retrieve it so it wasnt a bad session for 30 mins. Hid in a cows cubicle in the next shed, it was perfect as I could get them perched on the roof trusses without shooting at them Amongst the calves. 8. Excellent moderator. I have 5 ASE moderators and they are the dogs danglers. Garry
  9. They all make em dead! Just depends on how much mess you want to make! My 223 and 220 swift are my rifkes of choice but it depends on what mood im in. If I feel like lamping out of the jeep then my 20 inch barreled 223 is the business. If I feel like lamping on the quad then my swift. If i feel like making a big hole in mr fox then my 6.5x47 or 6.5x284 comes out to play! Different strokes for many folk. They will all work just fine. Dam it I even have shot them in the head with my .22lr.
  10. Most of my lamping foxes is done using a quad
  11. Were u out in a boat or off bank? Havent fished it yet but might take the wee boat down some evenin. What bait you use? Garry
  12. Hard work but nothin more rewarding being out in the countryside in the fresh air. Hard work keeps you fit and you can throw the gun in the vehicle and go for a mooch now and again. Definatly one of the more exciting jobs!! Beats siting in an office anyday.
